Exam Prep Tips from WMTC Instructors

Our instructors have helped hundreds of students pass their NHA exams. Here's what they recommend.

1

Attend Friday Study Nights

WMTC hosts instructor-led study sessions every Friday evening. These are specifically designed to reinforce exam content and build test-taking confidence.

2

Use the NHA Practice Exam

NHA offers an official online practice exam for each certification. It mirrors the real exam format and helps identify knowledge gaps before test day.

3

Review the Content Outline

Download the exam content outline from NHA's website. It lists every domain and task that may appear on the exam β€” use it as your study checklist.

4

Know Your Exam Day Requirements

Bring two forms of ID (one government-issued with photo). No personal items allowed in the testing room. Arrive 15 minutes early.

5

Schedule Early

Register for your exam as soon as you're eligible. Testing slots fill up, especially at the end of the month. WMTC hosts on-site NHA testing β€” ask your instructor.

6

Understand the Scoring

NHA exams use scaled scoring (390/500 to pass). Some questions are unscored pretest items β€” don't let an unfamiliar question throw you off.
