Pay 50% of tuition at enrollment. The remaining balance is due in full before your cohort start date.

Students with outstanding balances may be suspended from class until the balance is resolved. WMTC reserves the right to withhold certificates and exam authorization for unpaid balances.

Community Funding & Sponsorship

WMTC works with students, employers, and community support organizations to help them realize their career goals. Funding opportunities may be available depending on your eligibility and the resources our partners have at the time of enrollment.

SDHC — San Diego Housing Commission

Not Currently Available

Workforce development funding for eligible San Diego residents. WMTC works directly with SDHC to coordinate funding on your behalf.

MyCAA — Military Spouse Scholarship

Active Funding

Up to $2,000/year and $4,000 lifetime in tuition assistance for eligible military spouses. Students may have a tuition responsibility after scholarship funding is authorized. WMTC is an approved MyCAA provider — once you enroll, our team completes and sends your ETP directly to you.

YMCA San Diego

IRC — International Rescue Committee

Active Funding

Promises2Kids — Guardian Scholars

Active Funding

Current and former foster youth in San Diego County may be eligible for tuition support through the Promises2Kids Guardian Scholars program, which provides financial stipends, case management, and coaching. Contact Promises2Kids directly to determine eligibility.

Equip Resource Solutions (ERS) has received a grant to help Pharmacy Technician students achieve their certification goals. Eligible students may receive funding support toward the Pharmacy Tech program. Contact ERS or WMTC admissions to learn more and apply.

We work with organizations such as YMCA San Diego, IRC (International Rescue Committee), SDHC (San Diego Housing Commission), CVS Health, and many other local employers and community organizations. Funding opportunities may be available — we will advocate for you every step of the way.

MyCAA-Eligible Programs

The following WMTC programs are approved for MyCAA Military Spouse Scholarship funding.

MyCAA / SpouseWorks Scholarship: Up to $2,000/year and $4,000 lifetime in tuition assistance. Students may have a tuition responsibility if the program cost exceeds the annual scholarship amount.

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (Hybrid)

Program cost: $2,500 · 16 weeks

MyCAA covers up to $2,000 · Student responsibility: $500

Pharmacy Technician (Hybrid)

Program cost: $2,500 · 10 weeks

MyCAA covers up to $2,000 · Student responsibility: $500

EKG Technician — Hybrid

Program cost: $1,900 · 12 weeks
