Our Medical Assistant Program is a hybrid program split into four components that take approximately 4 months to complete. Students will spend the first three components of the course in a hybrid learning setting, attending two online live sessions each week with their class and instructor. The fourth and final component is a 2-day expedited lab portion held on campus at Area Occupational Medical Group, PC, located at 110 North 3rd Street, San Jose, CA 95112-5696. The lab days are August 30th and 31st. Following this, students will have the opportunity to complete an externship of their own design. With our curriculum, once a student completes all four components and their externship, they are then eligible to sit for the NCCT National certification exam for both Medical Assistant and Medical Office Assistant.
