The Medical Office Assistant program is a fully self-paced online program — there are no required class sessions, no set schedule, and no cohort start dates. Once enrolled, you receive immediate access to the curriculum and can complete your coursework entirely on your own timeline.
The program covers four core components and takes approximately 14 weeks to complete at a standard pace, though students may move faster or slower based on their availability. There are no live sessions, no instructor check-ins, and no attendance requirements.
Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the NHA national certification exam for Medical Administrative Assistant. This course does not require an in-person lab component or externship.

Medical Administrative Assistant Certification | CMAA — NHAA Medical Office Assistant (MOA) is a healthcare professional who manages administrative tasks in medical offices and healthcare facilities.
