Approvals

Here at Western Medical Training Center, we are a private educational institution that holds an exemption status granted by the Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau for Private and Postsecondary Education (BPPE).

Our programs have received approval from several authoritative bodies, including the Board of Registered Nursing and the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), as well as the National Healthcare Association (NHA).

Free Parking

FREE public parking daily until 6:00 PM at the Balboa Park lot located just east of Sixth Avenue.

Free Parking hours vary. Please plan accordingly.

How to Find Free Parking
  1. Enter the parking lot off Balboa Drive (see map below with blue “P”).
  2. After parking, walk west across the grass and path toward Sixth Avenue.
  3. Cross Sixth Avenue and continue one block to the red X building (our campus).

From I-5 North or South:

  • Take the Pershing Drive exit or 6th Avenue exit.
  • Follow signs for Downtown/Balboa Park and head south on Sixth Avenue.
  • Turn left on Elm St — campus is located at corner of Elm & Sixth.

From 163 South:

  • Exit at University Ave and continue south on Sixth Avenue.
  • Cross Juniper Road, continue past Balboa Park.
  • Turn right at Elm Street — we’re right across from the parking lot!

From 94 West:

  • Merge onto I-5 North, exit at Sixth Avenue.
  • Head north on Sixth Avenue and turn left at Elm St.
